Single Estate Speciality - Ethiopia, Ayiso Lemi

The Ayiso Lemi Cooperative are a group that form part of The Jimma Farmers Multi-Purpose Agricultural Cooperatives Union located in Jimma Town.

The union was established to support smallholder farmers and provide cooperatives and producer groups with training and technical assistance on sustainable agricultural practices, financial management, marketing, and export services for their coffee.

They offer production support to farmers, helping them access the necessary resources to grow and harvest their crops successfully, whilst also promoting environmental conservation and organic sustainable practices to help improve soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity.

Under the instruction of the Union, cooperatives now create their own organic fertilisers using animal manure and discarded cherry pulp mixed with lime. These fertilisers are then distributed to farmers at the end of each season.

This is a medium roast, with wonderful hints of Orange, Cranberry and Vanilla Sponge
